WHEN I STOOD UP

 "FROM MOTHER"

  When I stood up for myself and my beliefs . . . 

It gave me pride and self assurance

When I would not compromise 

what I believe in and what's in my heart . . . 

God blessed me and put his hand upon me.   

When I refused to tolerate  

injustice and spoke against it . . . 

It made me fell great and worthwhile 

  When I did not allow anyone to squash 

every ounce of spirit I hold within me

I was refreshed and feel new life within me!

Anyone asking me to give 

up my pride, and my self esteem,  

be put on notice

IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN!
